Where The Hell Are We

This Is What’s There

Where The Hell Are We

The monuments of a place are the people who live there. We are interested in the the back alleys, corner cafes, family markets and street vendors.  The place you aren’t looking for is our story.

This Is What’s There believes the best representation of a city is the people who live there. They are interested in the the places where people live and play: the corner cafes, family markets, off-the-wall bars, people-watching parks, the restaurant nobody knows about and that weird little shop of awesome.

We are the experiential, anti-tourist, the home-grown, backpack-toting, back alley explorers.

Their first book, Where The Hell Are We, contains eleven stories about some of the most interesting places on the planet that you’ve never heard of.
