Toronto-based Misanthrope Specialty Co. makes xerographic prints and assemblages of giant squids attacking steamboats, red-headed boys holding empty fishbowls, and wooden message cards that say things like "You ruin everything" or "You're dead to me."

A fully collaborative collective, every open edition print is the product of the combined efforts of all of its members. They meet, vote on company issues, and pass around projects so that each member can make their mark.
